Snips and Snaps

Castlefield

After the excitement of the Lakeland mountains yesterday, down to earth with a six mile run across the relative flatlands of Lancashire. Checking out my winter training route along the paths and tracks up to my local trigpoint to get a tiny bit of training in when time/light is short. After racing yesterday Ian opted for a bit of light gardening. In the afternoon we had a stroll around Castlefield canal basin and a drink under cover, just before the torrential rain came on. Hard to believe we were in full sunshine yesterday. Still it was the right way round, as it were. This barge also looked like it was sheltering from the rain under the willow tree :)
