Bedford Coach Comes Home

It's been a better day, still fairly windy but sunny spells through the day, and still a nasty shower now and again.

Spent the morning puttering about the caravan, chatting with other campers and packing up.  Even though the weather hasn't been great, I still had a good weekend away.  Back home by lunchtime, and then headed down to Cunningsburgh.  I got soaked out walkies, hopefully will manage a dry walk later.  Chores done, feet up now.

The Shetland Commercial Vehicle Show has been on over the weekend.   Various trucks, vans, tractors, engines and buses to look at, with stalls, photos and teas too.  One of the big exhibits is this Bedford OB coach, reg no. HGE 219.  She was in use throughout Shetland for 37 years, and left in 1979.  Now she's been fully restored and given back to Shetland.  Many folk remember her well, and she'll be treasured back here.  Taken at the show field, Cunningsburgh.
