Stalker Castle, Appin

Most of the day was spent walking to and admiring waterfalls. First up was Inchree falls which was only a very short distance for the cottage. The falls consisted of a series of impressive cascades. After lunch we walked from Kinlochleven up a stretch of the West Highland Way before waking back down past the Grey Mare's waterfall a high, single drop fall. In the evening we drove over to Appin to photograph Stalker castle which sits on a island in Loch Laich, an inlet of Loch Linnhe. Conditions weren't great: high tide and only intermittent shafts of sun not where I wanted them.
