Mt. Rainier from countryside

Today was the memorial for our beloved blipper Artist Annie's husband Arvin....I needed to stay local today due to energy etc. and taking care of the foot...but my heart was with Ann and thnking deeply of how special gentle Arvin was while his footprint was upon our earth.  Originally I was to be in Portland to help watch my grandkids, but due to the broken foot I had to nix that.  I did go to another memorial right in town for a beloved secretary I'd worked with.  Seems like I've lost quite a few friends of late.   The weather was scortching, but beautiful too and views of Mt. Rainier close by were pretty stunning.
