Fallen peonies

A visit to Amanda's Memorial Garden, across the car park at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, is always a pleasure. It is well planted and now quite mature, I have been walking round it since 2009. Part of the design is to minimise the amount of attention the garden needs, mostly this is very successful. The peonies demonstrate the danger of not having a constant eye on plants. The peonies come into bloom and have to be staked before they fall, a critical time.
