First Class

MONDAY

This morning I headed off on the train to York to attend a workshop at the University Law School.

Thirty minutes into the first session I received a text from Harriet to tell me that she has been awarded a First Class Honours Degree from Bradford University. This satisfies the requirements for her to be accepted at medical school in September.

After very little sleep and lots of excitement, a very tired Harriet finally arrived home from Glastonbury around 7 pm. We had a curry but didn't get round to opening the champagne which is still on ice in the fridge. We did manage to make a start however on some of the goodies from Betty's in York.

A very satisfying but tiring day for all and a couple of very proud parents.
