Sunday Express review magazine frontpage

So here is another one to my front pages collection from the British nationals.
Took this picture back in April this year. Seems like ages ago.

To talk a little more about the photo, here are some details.

Make sure to have a giant for this type of photo, and four little kids. Hook the kids up on wires and lift them to different heights on the climbing wall.
The, mix and blend the giant person with them, so it gives you an ok-ish frame.

Then add some 400WS mono lights / in this case an Elinchrom/ , with no light modifiers, pointing it to the white ceiling at full power to give you a nice fill light, and also bang it two strip lights with 2x Nikon SB900 from each side of the frame, so you give a little edge to the photo light wise.

Then before you press the shutter, tell the kids to smile or some sort, and try to explain to the giant person who actually speaks Turkish only, to smile too.

Then, if you have your desired frame, leave them alone. As the poor guy is actually in a lot of pain, because of his huge joints in his body, as they cannot take too much pressure.

So be kind to them, realize they not fashions models, shoot a few frames - make sure you get it right, than thank for their time and move on.

This photograph got published the next day in 7 national newspapers here in Britain, and just realized it made the front page of the Sunday Express yesterday. Pretty cool, a kind of a come back shot!

Hope you are well folks, keep smiling I say!
