Birmingham

I don't think I have been in Birmingham since ( I am dredging it from deep in the memory pile) around 1975 when I was working for the Church of Scotland and attended a conference there.

Anyway I was back this morning to speak at a Seminar organised by the City University's Centre for Brexit Studies, supported by the West Midlands Economic Forum.

It was an interesting and positive event held on the campus of the City University part of which is my extra photo.

My main picture is a detail of that scene - the fountains which make fascinating , momentary wraith like shapes in the air but which clearly do not distract the regular passer by !
