Change of Direction!

Jen invited me on a road trip this morning to take a bagful of bridesmaids' dresses and her very lovely prom dress (from 2003!) to the Oxfam shop.  We took a detour to the City Mirror Pool and Jen wandered off through the fountains whilst I tried to get a weather picture.  As she returned through the arch, the fountains decided to change direction so she had to pick up speed to avoid a soaking!

We lunched at Guzelian Cafe Bar in Little Germany on yummy veggie ciabattas before heading home.

A short while later, Tony and I headed out to Ilkley to help out with another schools' orienteering event in the Riverside Gardens.  Just a few kids turned up but made up for the lack of numbers in their enthusiasm to keep going round the courses....and the rain held off so a result!

We picked up fish and chips at Grandad Nichol's Chippy and drove up to the Cow and Calf to enjoy them before returning home.
