Tiny Tuesday

When I read about this weeks challenge I instantly knew which piece of jewellery to look out. Thank you to Isbi for hosting.

This is a very special ring to me. It was my Grandmothers engagement ring. I never met her as she died long before I was around. My Mum let me borrow the ring on my wedding day and when she passed away eight years ago it moved into my care. It is not worn often but when it is it makes me smile, although there is a tear in my eye now. 

I found this difficult to photograph . I placed it on a variety of surfaces, included other items and faffed around with lighting. More practice needed I think but I finally placed it on the paper which my wedding album is wrapped in.
