Lions on Wheels

There is some footie action going on here in Wellington and I have seen lots of British looking folk with red jackets and hats on, peering at maps and The Boss has said “Gidday” about  a thousand times. I don’t believe there is anything particularly NZish about Gidday, but at least he got lots of smiles and stuff which ‘Kia ora’  might not have produced. 
This wonderfully decorated bus was getting a ticket of some sort as we walked past it this morning and I know that the huge influx of campa vans must also be putting pressure on the limited facilities here. There are road closed signs up everywhere for Friday night and I am pleased in a way that we will be gone by then. Small Stuffed Dogs find huge crowds of rowdy folk a bit intimidating.
