Limekilns at Beadnell Bay

Yesterday we enjoyed a trip to Seahouses to stay in the holiday home of one of our neighbours who had very kindly invited us with other neighbours to stay there. She was also keen to point out to us some of the local landmarks including a visit to the Grace Darling Museum and the Church of St. Aidans at Bamburgh but also these Limekilns at Beadnell Bay. They are a particularly well preserved example of historic limekilns but unfortunately the light was too flat to get reasonable images. So I have combined various shots to create a montage and given it a tinted monochrome finish to give it a historical feel.
