Puffin

I heard on the radio that the creator of the Paddington stories, Michael Bond,  had died. I bought this set of the first four Paddington stories from a charity shop some years ago for my children but I confess that the other attraction was that these were the same editions that I remembered reading when I was young. As illustrated by Peggy Fortnum this is the Paddington I grew up with and although theoretically a story for children I think there's a lot of adults out there who could do worse than to add Paddington to their reading list.
