bridge over troubled water

A busy day at the cafe today; I'm sure people thought it would be a nice place to be on such a rainy day. What I like is the variety of customers we get at The Usual Place, and the variety of their reasons for visiting. One man was working all day, on his laptop and meeting a colleague. A group of ladies had their monthly meet up for lunch and a chat. Mums came in with their young children. A young woman was having a coffee while waiting for a "Drawing for Enjoyment" class held here after the cafe closed. Two women who had just lost their father came in for a comforting cup of tea and a kind word. It's a meeting place, an eating place, a resting place, and so much more. No two days are ever the same.

On the way home, the fields were full of water and the waterfall at Routin Brig was in roaring spate.
