A splendid wood pile

When I went to guide camp, many, many years ago we cooked on open fires and one of the patrol duties was to collect firewood ..... never was our woodpile stacked so neatly!

I drove through torrential rain to take Togbe back to Aberfoyle ... no chance of a walk so M took me for a run through the Queen Elizabeth forest ending up at Stronachlachar where we had lunch in the very nice Pier Cafe. If it hadn't been for the rain running down the windows the view across Loch Katrine would have been wonderful.

The extra photo is the map outside the cafe showing exactly where Stronachlachar is.
