SIGNS

NO SMOKING

Went to Tokyo for the first time in three months. I visited Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and enjoyed the exhibition of Bruegel's painting "The Tower of Babel" that's been going on at the moment.

Afterwards I met up with one of my close friends who has been working in Tokyo since this April.

I spotted this sign when we were walking in Meiji Shrine. The sign was telling not to smoke or eat while walking along the paths, as mentioned in Japanese; but somehow only one of the prohibitions, smoking, was translated into English.

During the day trip to the big city I was satisfied to collect several signs. That's one of the reasons why I love coming to Tokyo! I may upload some of them later.
