Venice Pier

Today had to be one of the hottest days on record. We took the kids out for a leisurely lunch near the beach. I had 2 mai tais, and they were yummy. Then we meandered to the beach and back home. I dozed off in bed while the kids played an iPad math game next to me.

It was a carefree day -- like being single again, only better.

A perfect day, really. I wouldn't change a thing.
