Globe Thistle

One of the flower heads on an echinops which I planted a few years ago. It's not a particularly strong blue colour this year. Not sure if the colour deepens or if it's sick but decided it looked best in mono.

Good news that Effie now has a new windscreen but unfortunately she won't be MOT'd in time for Sundays show at Doune. We'll still go along and I look forward to getting her out on the road later next week.

Tomorrow is the Erskine Classic Car Show at the Braehead arena so an early start for us to get set up. If you are in the area do pop in. We should have around 200 cars there and it's in aid of the Erskine veterans charity.

Oh and yesterdays blip was a race wheel resting on a tyre.
