Another day...another garden

and another bee.  A different type of sea holly compared to June 26th.  This one is purple, not blue, much larger and more spiky leaves.  I presume its Eryngium Alpinum Superbum (what a name!) or Alpine sea holly, but please correct me if I am wrong. Not sure if the bee is the same as the ones at Dirleton which I was told are Bombus Sylvestris.

More gardens were open in East Lothian today so we nipped over to Garvald Grange.  Lovely ponds and a variety of garden areas.
