Spilling Over

Dear Diary,

What an exciting night we had around here last night!  A huge storm swept through with torrential rains, high winds and hail.  They counted 225 lightening strikes in just one hour north of me and a tornado touched down on Sebago Lake creating an awesome water spout.  The rain was coming down at 4 inches and hour at one point and flash flooding was a problem in places.  We lost power for about 3 hours in the night but my generator came on so all was well here.

This morning it is a whole different story.  Bright blue skies and abundant sun.  It was like a nightmare that you wake up from and quickly forget.  My lamium is doing well this year and spilling over the rock wall that encloses the tree in front.  Matt says he can rework the stone work which needs re-aligning.  For now, it looks a bit like it is weighed down with the weight of the lamium!
