Summer Holiday

A day like it should be when you are cycling and camping; fair weather and a pleasant temperature. We've even used sunscreen! Just in time for the small ferry at Fleetwood. The last one to cross the river Wyre before it's lunchtime break. At the other side in Knott End, one of the two headed crewmen had to rinse the mud of the quay with a fire hose.It has been a trip without too much effort.

We had a nice Sunday stroll, like the many people on the Promenade of Morecambe. However, to reach the campsite we had to climb a few hills, which I couldn't without getting off my bike and walk a small part of it. My knee is protesting, which is a pity because I would have liked to cycle up the Hardknott Pass and we decided to skip that and follow route 6 up north through the Lake District.
