Le Vendee

So we've driven 340km West to find some sunshine and it worked!

I was proper fed up with the rain in the Loire valley. Added to that, the last camp site apologised in advance for the music festival that was going on in the field very close by. The festival music was fine and no bother at all but there was some bloke with a van with its doors and windows open that played drum and bass absolutely all night none stop. In fact it only stopped at 10am Sunday morning. I can only assume that the festival goers didn't appreciate it much either. I did sleep through it with the aid of earplugs thankfully.

Anyway, we decided to go West and it's been a good decision. Found a camp site near a beach which is nearly as good as West Wittering close to home!
