Only a couple of days since the last Smokey blip, but how could I resist? It is a while since I photographed him in the garden.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Pogues - The Old Main Drag (recorded 3rd July 1985, BBC Maida Vale 5, for the Janice Long Show, broadcast 11 July 1985)
I remember hearing a number of sessions by the Pogues on Radio One when they burst onto the scene. They recorded sessions for John Peel, Kid Jensen and Janice Long and they got an FM transmission in the London area courtesy of Radio London in the evenings, so I was able to record most of them onto cassette. Some of them turned up on The Pogues Box Set including this song on CD2, originally from Rum Sodomy And The Lash.
