Here's the big bank of the red and white lilies for the fans of them.

Learning to program in C is all very well, but eventually results are needed, and after failing badly at home this morning, a change of tack led to progress this afternoon so my project student will have some interesting results when he finishes tomorrow. This was also due to a long session this afternoon when my PhD student and I were learning from each other: I was learning more C and she was learning generic code development skills from me. We Skype the Japanese on Thursday.
