Bassenthwaite

After shopping, calling on younger son for coffee and then gardening this afternoon, we had an early tea and we are just back from taking Rip for a walk at Bassenthwaite.
The picture was taken at the point where the water leaves the lake and meanders  as the River Derwent towards Cockermouth.
