Life through the lens...

Exquisite

One of the delights of our holiday in Provence was the wonderful perfume in the air around us.
This wasn't lavender, but " Jasmine".
Trachelospermum Jasminoides to give it it's botanical name.
Tuscan Jasmine, an evergreen climber, which originates from Japan.
There were lots of plants growing down side streets in the town, as well as beside our terrace.
So you can imagine my delight when I visited our local plant nursery today, and found a plant for sale.
The best thing was that some dear friends had given us a voucher for our Golden Wedding to spend at the nursery. ( Many thanks A&A)
I wanted to buy something special, and this was perfect, and I still have some money left for more plants.
Have planted it in a pot by the front door.
The perfume is exquisite. Just wish you could smell it too.
A wonderful reminder of our Golden Wedding Day, France, and our two dear friends.
