Back blip!

One of the things the glasshouse at Springburn Winter Gardens is missing is glass. Indeed, the Winter Gardens are missing quite a lot really. Very sad.

Built in 1899-1900 the Winter Gardens fell into disrepair in the early 1980's and have been extensively vandalised since then too.

However, a Trust has been established with a view to eventually restoring the Winter Gardens in Springburn Park to their former glory. They certainly have a challenge on their hands.

The extra blip is of a heron I spotted on one of the ponds in Springburn Park later the same day.
