Onion Johnny

In days gone by, French onion growers used to come over to Britain from Brittany and cycle round, selling strings of onions door to door. They still come to Abergavenny market to sell onions, and garlic too. By the looks of the bike he doesn't ride on it though!

The Food Festival may be over, but Tuesday is traditionally market day and there were plenty of people in the market hall this morning. I hope they took a look at our decorations!
