This current series is Vietnam and it is a cracker.

So.
This morning I hot footed it down to the local Vietnamese family owned greengrocer and loaded up with coriander, spicy mint, galangal, anchovy based fish sauce, seriously hot birds eye chillies  and cellophane noodles.
Some of my attempts at pronunciation of other spices were met with a raised eyebrow and 'never heard of it'.
Anyway...success was had in the kitchen.
