Bamburgh Castle

Backblip

Rudely awoken by the sun beating on the tent at the crack of dawn. A quick trip into Alnwick. A peak at the castle and then the more important matter of a new camping chair for Mr Lif was dealt with (don't ask).

Home via Bamburgh which was mobbed so we didn't stop for long. The intention was to laze by the tent for the afternoon. Instead we sought shelter from the unrelenting sun under the shade of a parasol in the beer garden!
