What a privilege to meet these two cyclists as they completed 1000 miles of riding from Land's End to here, Duncansby Head, this afternoon.

15 days it took them. Puts our few days in the saddle into perspective. I was in awe.

Their support driver was less impressed and muttered, in broad Yorkshire, "waste of bloody time".
