Today Biskit and I explored Newark’s ‘Sconce and Devon Park’ while Mrs W had her RA appointment at Newark Hospital.  We’ll give it 10/10 for dog friendliness (that’s the park, not the hospital . . . ) with loads of open space and lots of poo-bag drop-off points.  Biskit made lots of new friends.
 
The cannon was actually made this way and is a sculpture on top of the Sconce.
 
The park has an excellent play area for the kids, a café and toilets, plus a fitness trail depicted at extra.  Well done Newark, a park for everyone, not just dog haters.
