Clothed in Crochet

Off to Évora this morning to buy an inverter, to enable a car battery to provide mains power, basically because the phone company are coming on Monday to connect our phone line and internet. Not that internet is our priority on the land, but our line is still in Mora, and could possibly be used by someone else (with the bill to us). And they need mains electricity, which as yet we don't have.

Anyway, stopped on the way back in a small village called Vendinha for a sandwich but no such luck (you want to eat at 3pm?!!) - oh well, at least I got a blip of the well dressed trees in the main square.

Meal tonight downstairs at the priest's - eight of us - will be interesting to see who he's invited... I've made tiramisù, hope they like it, and will take a salad. Won't be coming up before midnight, that's for sure, so blipping now.
