Never too early for cake

My friend Alia presented me with a package this morning.

I knew it would be edible and thought I might save it for lunchtime.

Then I peeked.

It was from Hummingbird bakery.

Then it was gone.

4 hours later it was lunchtime.

This week has been difficult so far. I had a very expensive quote for the surgery that Roobarb needs and Ripley hasn't been too good.

Thank goodness for the gift of cake.
