Fishing

Last day so Mrs PS and I and Adam got up at 6 for sunrise fishing. An overcast, but warm morning, so we jumped in the tinny and shot around the point.

Lots of fish biting and we caught many undersize, we took 6 better sized ones home. Adam caught 4 that we kept, his mum and dad just one each! Not bad.

Adam then had a quick blat around the bay in the boat. He's turned into a great boatie. Likes driving, likes speed, and has the basics of maneuvering, Great to see.

Then a final pack on on the boat back to Fitzroy, then over the hill to Okiwi airfield. Sadly the plane had gone to Claris and expected us there, but as luck would have it another plane came in the take us down. We?re talking 9 seaters on grass airstrips, in remote locations. You're always glad when they make it into the air, and land!

Anyway, back in Auckland now for a couple of days before I head home. Not looking forward to it really, maybe I'll just stay on holiday forever ;-)
