Maw n me...

A trip to the dump, followed by a lovely day with my Mum. She drove up from Da Shire, and we headed out to Dalkeith Country Park, as I knew she'd enjoy looking round Restoration Yard (she did) and having lunch there (ditto).

After a few hours, we headed along to Ikea. Got a new rug to replace the one left at the dump, plus a couple of other bits and pieces. By the time we emerged into the early evening light, I'd lost the will to live, so I said goodbye to Mum and headed home.

Dinner and then Iain picked The Fugitive to watch. Everyone is so young in it!

Finished the latest Dave Eggers book. Next on the list is the Oliver Sacks biography I got out the library.
