Names never forgotten

This morning I met D#1 in Glasgow to view a flat she's thinking of buying.

The apartment is in a recently-refurbished and -converted primary school which had closed several years ago because of falling numbers and then fallen into disrepair and been vandalised.

A class register from the 1940s had been found in the ruins and it was decided to incorporate the first names of the pupils into the electronic gates at the entry to the residents' car-park - boys on one side, girls on the other. What a lovely reminder of the building's original role!

Off out for the evening with Minty to visit Bitsy and her humans. Catch y'all later.
