Break In The Weather

In the office this morning at 7 it was 26°C.  I opened all the windows and tried to encourage a breeze.  The temperature fell to 24.5°C.  For the 3 hours I managed this afternoon, it was 29°C.

It was 37°C outside, so it could have been worse.

As I was sat on the bus on the way home, it started to get darker.  "I wonder when the rain will start?" thought the hapless victim of a jinxing.

I got off the bus and the rain started.  This was taken after I got home when the rain wasn't quite so heavy.

We should continue to have Gewitter* through out the rest of the evening and night.  The air could be super tomorrow morning.

*thunderstorms - German nouns that end in -er don't take an 's' to pluralise them.
