Ikea...

... has grown considerably since it was opened by its founder, Ingvar Kamprad, in 1943 in his home country of Sweden and there are now stores worldwide. This is the Croydon store and the chimneys are the remainder of Croydon B power station.

So.... you know Mr C took the curtains down yesterday and washed them and I then came home and ironed them. Well... one curtain shrank considerably (imagine trousers flapping around your calves!!!). Hence my visit to ikea today. I also bought some blinds for the other room and a couple of other bits. So old, washed and ironed curtains are down and new ones up!
