Rain stopped play

It was quite late in the afternoon by the time we made it to the allotment.
The raspberries are cropping so heavily that the canes are breaking under the strain. A great crop nevertheless. And there will be more in another day or two. Mr EAnn ventured into the fruitcage and started on the red currants - I think I need to see if I can make jelly. I used to make crabapple jelly back in the day. How hard can it be?
It rained just as I was starting on the black currants. So back in the morning.
In other news Mr EAnn went flying so he's happy and he has taken my camera back to the repairer - so I'm not. Very glad I didn't trade in my Olympus when I got it.
