The Future

We'd both finished work on this hot sunny afternoon but there were no children around.

We missed them!  No bouncing on the trampoline, no sliding down the water slide, no jumping through the water spray and shrieking, so Martin played with Jess instead.

I get the occasional reply to my texts to Ben (in Kavos on a lads holiday).  He said that he's been to a 'boat party' today which I think is his way of avoiding the words 'Booze Cruise'.

Teenagers eh?  They think they invented this stuff.  I have not yet shared with him the shenanigans that went on cruising round the Whitsunday Islands and in Surfers Paradise in Australia in the 80's with Jo, Donna, Carolyn and Amanda...

*sigh*

But perhaps not....
