Ducklings Again.....

I got a bit worried this morning as there was no sign of mum and her 5 mallard duckings on the pond at work. But by lunchtime they'd appeared again. And I think they have worked out what us humans are for. They didn't hesitate to rush over towards us when we approached.

I also caught a flash of a kingfisher this morning as he hurtled along the brook which runs through the campus. I knew it was around as they have a very distinctive call.
