St. Emillion

Sent off with an excellent picnic to St. Emillion where we had a slot booked on the (English) tour of the subterranean church.
A beautiful albeit touristic place and the eglise monolithique was impressively huge although to my mind not as attractive as its sister church in Aubeterre.
Back then for Ruadh to wave a fond farewell to her mother and sister before heading off to an ex colleague's house not twenty minutes away.
The rose wine was produced, several chickens were barbecued and all seemed well in the world  - and anything that wasn't we soon put to rights.
