Image exploration

Got a haircut, shorter than usual: whole back and sides of my head shaved. It feels wonderful: the short hair feels like those textural greeting cards you used to see with teddy bears you could rub. I'm a little shy about how it looks. I'm also experimenting with wearing men's shirts; they're much more substantial, more detailed, of heavier and richer fabrics than the kind of flimsy, badly-sewn women's shirts made in China and sold in the kinds of department stores I can afford to patronize. I'm much too old to be having a mid-life crisis, but I seem to becoming more butch in my old age. Settling into myself. I like it.
