Fiery sunset

Literally taken through fiery clouds.
Another scorching day today, and sadly fires are burning. I had a scary trip to my early golf this morning past two raging fires...the firemen told me to go ahead, and I rushed through with flames on the side of the road, and burning embers flying across the road...wow, but it was ok. The road was blocked later when I came home so I had to take an alternative route.
This was taken at sunset when I took water and food for the firemen, but I couldn't get close enough as the road was closed again.
They are truly amazing the way they fight these fires...I just hope the flames have died down. Fortunately at this stage they are about 6 kms away from our village.
