Small Skipper

After yesterday's city street scene, I'm back to my photographic comfort zone with butterflies. Went for a walk this morning with our son and Bug through Hadley Wood, where I saw and photographed another first for me: this Small Skipper butterfly (Thymelicus sylvestris) sitting on a knapweed flower (Centaurea). Also caught a Meadow Brown (Manila jurtina) and Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) - see Extra. My other Extra is of the three 'boys' resting their paws during the walk. Oh, or maybe they were waiting for me while I snapped butterflies!
