Street Festival

The Hampshire town of Romsey took centre stage today with the ingeniously named Beggars Fair.
It happens just once a year when all over town you cannot miss music, dance and street entertainment, although mostly centred on the town’s pubs.
Even so proper stages were set up in the town’s Cornmarket and in Church Square alongside the Abbey as the central focus for the 25th music festival
The event has been running yearly since 1993 and is certainly living up to its original aims of showcasing local talent in a friendly manner.

The day stayed fine and as always, relished in a great atmosphere bringing people and performers together.
