River Kent

Lovely day (when it warmed up). Here's a quick shot of the river Kent that I took whilst killing time as I was filming for Jim and arrived early.

The alms houses on the left hand side are currently and finally being refurbished after storm Desmond (yes 18 months ago). Some people in those houses have been moved 7 times whilst they have waited for their houses to be made habitable again. So it's not those in the Grenfell Tower fire who are left to struggle.

Met some good friends today and had a lovely lunch out (more food!) and a great catch up.
