Burrowing Owls

The main goal of our walk today was to capture ipês - they are all blossoming along the city, but we found this lovely family of burrowing owls - it is possible to see their big burrow. The one to the left is the mom, the two to the right are the kids, they still have a fluffy white plumage. The male was a bit far, but keeping both eyes on the kids. Lighting was not too good, unfortunately...
Extra: a collage of the purple ipês we found during the walk.
