Taking his punishment

We had a nice afternoon out at a local school fayre. Leo had been invited along by one of his soccer pals as it was for a school in one of the neighbouring villages. They had a grand old time; playing footie, going mad on the bouncy dragon, scoffing ice creams etc, etc.

It was rather amusing to see the poor old dragon deflate at one point and the team in charge easing in to rescue the children - good old British summertime fun.

We are all meeting up again tomorrow as it is yet another footie tournament for us all. This time we are heading over the border to Somerset for the Avishayes tournament.

And it turned out to be very good news on the car front. I went with Leo to pick it up and they didn't charge a thing. Turns out it started every time for them and when they took a close look they thought the leads had just come dislodged as when they cleaned it all up to take a look they couldn't see any corrosion or any other problem! Good old KwikFit. We had taken in a lovely box of choccie biscuits to say thank you for dealing with it after we had deposited on their forecourt overnight ahd subsequently arriving to book it in. So a grand total of £4 for the experience :)

Let's hope our luck holds for the footie.
